If you enter an invalid password, you may attempt to log in again. If you enter an invalid password three times in a row, the Online Banking system’s security measures will temporarily lock access for 24 hours.

Entering an invalid password three times in a row will lock your online access for 24 hours. You can contact the Client Care Center at 1.877.838.2517 to unlock your account and reset your password if needed.

A secure access code is an added level of security to your Online Banking credentials. This type of multifactor authentication further verifies the identification of the person signing into your account. After entering your Login ID and Password, you will be prompted to choose a delivery method, which can be your telephone number, email address or text message. These forms of delivery are set up when you enroll in Online Banking. These can be updated after you login or by calling the C&N Client Care Center. A 6-digit code will be sent to the method you choose, which you will enter on the next screen. This code is a one-time-use code, so you do not need to save it.

The next screen will prompt you to choose “Register Device” or “Do Not Register Device.” When you choose to register a device, a cookie will be stored on your computer. A cookie is a small bit of data sent from a website and stored on your web browser enabling the website to recall your previous activity. This will allow you to keep from getting a secure access code every time you log in to your Internet Banking. The secure access code cookie will remain on your computer for 365 days, at which time you will be required to get a new secure access code. If you are signing in using a public or shared computer, we highly recommend that you choose “Do Not Register Device” to further safeguard your information.

This usually means the secure access code cookie is being deleted from your browser. Check your browser settings to see if cookies are set to delete on exit. You can contact us at 1-877-838-2517 for assistance with making those changes. Some Anti-Virus software may delete cookies from your browser as well. You may have to contact your Anti-Virus Software company for instructions on how to prevent that program from deleting cookies from our website.

Yes, C&N’s Online Banking offers Online Bill Pay. Contact your local C&N office for information, call our Client Care Center at 1.877.838.2517 or email us at [email protected].

The fee for Online Bill Pay is $2.95 per month for unlimited bill payments, taken out of your account on the last business day of each month. This fee is waived for C&N Merit Checking Accounts.

Digital Wallet is a digital form of your debit or credit card that you can use to make payments from your compatible smartphone, smartwatch or tablet. To pay, simply open your mobile device’s Digital Wallet and hold your device near a store's checkout terminal to send a securely encrypted payment and complete your purchase.

Person-to-person payments are a digital cash alternative that make sending and receiving money as easy as emailing and texting. Whether it’s paying allowance, splitting the check or sending a birthday gift, P2P payments allow you to quickly transfer money from your existing checking account to almost anybody else’s.

PeoplePay is C&N’s P2P solution and is easy to use. It is available in your C&N Online Banking or Mobile App, so there is no additional app required to download! You can find more information about PeoplePay here.
