This is great news! We’re happy to welcome you to the C&N family! With C&N’s Exclusive Switch Service, we will handle the dirty work for you. In just five easy steps, you will be on your way to enjoying the many benefits that come with a C&N checking account.

  1. Complete the authorization form online or in person.
  2. Open your new C&N account.
  3. Provide us with your employer’s HR contact information.
  4. Provide us with a current bank statement.
  5. Close your old accounts.

Yes, you can! You can open a checking account, savings account or Certificate of Deposit (CD) from the comfort of your own home in as little as 5 minutes at any time, day or night. If you get stuck, you’ll also have local support during normal business hours to help guide you through the process.

 

You’ll want to have a few things handy before you begin:

 
Current C&N Customers:
  • Name

  • ​Birthdate

  • Last 4 digits of your social security number

  • A current account number

  • An existing account number and routing number to fund your new account


New Customers to C&N:
  • Name

  • Email Address

  • Current Identification (i.e. Driver’s License)

  • Date of Birth

  • Social Security Number

  • An existing account number and routing number to fund your new account

You can reorder checks from your online banking by selecting “Services” from the navigation menu and choosing “Check Reorder.” You can also reorder checks by contacting our Client Care Center by phone at 1.877.838.2517 or by live chat on our website.

If your card is lost or stolen, the first thing you should do is call to have it blocked to help minimize any potential fraudulent charges. If you think it’s possible that it’s simply misplaced and you would like to search for it, you can put a temporary block on the card while you look. If it is stolen or permanently misplaced, we can shut off your card and provide a new one quickly. During normal business hours, you visit a branch or call our Client Care Center at 1.877.838.2517 to get a block put on your card. After normal business hours, call 1.800.528.2273.

We understand that being without a debit card can be a hassle, so we have implemented Instant Issue Debit Cards in most of our branches.  Whether your card is lost, stolen or damaged, you can walk into a branch and get a new one in as little as 5 minutes. If you can’t travel to one of these branches or would like a new one ordered by mail, we can order that for you from any branch or through our Client Care Center. Your new card should arrive in the mail within 5-7 business days.
At C&N, we enjoy teaching and encouraging children how to develop smart saving habits. We offer our Ju$t for Kid$ Club for children 13 and under, and our Teen $teps Club for young adults aged 14 – 18. Giving Back, Giving Together: C&N’s Giving Back, Giving Together community fundraising campaign (GBGT) was formed in March of 2015 with the purpose of supporting a different cause each year that will have a positive and lasting impact on our local communities. Each year, C&N employees and the public vote on which cause they want to support, and we find local organizations to partner with so that every dollar raised remains local. Annual Calendar Contest: Each year, C&N holds a calendar contest open to all amateur photographers to capture the beauty of the area in which we live. The winning calendar submission receives $300, and each monthly winner receives $100. You may have seen our calendar in an office or someone’s home, because we print and distribute over 20,000 calendars to our area!
