We are aware of a service disruption affecting some types of debit cards transactions. We expect this to be resolved tomorrow, Tuesday December 9.
In the meantime, here’s what you can do:
- Use your PIN at checkout: these transactions have been processing as normal
- Use cash: visit your local branch or a C&N ATM to make a withdrawal
- Contact us with urgent needs: by phone 570.568.6851, email [email protected], or chat at cnbankpa.com

- No immediate action is needed but to keep things running smoothly, it’s a good practice to update your routing number within a year after your December 8 conversion date.
- Deposits continue as usual, same account, same day
Tip: Log into C&N Digital Banking (via web or app) to double-check your deposit on payday.
- Bill Pay: Is ready for you within C&N’s digital banking. You should see your payments and payees as soon as you log in.
- Checks: Keep using your SCB checks until you run out. When you reorder, you’ll just use the C&N routing number.
- Automatic Payments: We recommend that you take a moment to verify recurring transfers in C&N’s digital banking.
- Debit Card Payments: Don't forget to update your favorite apps or sites to your new C&N card.

How to Log In to C&N's Digital Banking
- Visit cnbankpa.com or open the C&N Mobile App
- Enter your existing username and password
- Verify your identity with a secure access code
- Create a new password

- A Freedom Checking account will become a C&N Everyday Checking (still no monthly service charge or minimum balance)
- While our extensive fleet of C&N ATMs are available with no surcharges, C&N will not support surcharge-free ATMs in the MoneyPass® network
