WELLSBORO, PA – C&N, the leading financial services company in the region, announced the promotion of Charity Frantz to Senior Vice President, Director of Marketing as a result of her proven leadership abilities and dedication to the company and its customers.

“During Charity’s tenure at C&N, she has transformed the Marketing function into a proactive, strategic resource for the Bank. Her expertise and leadership have been valuable, most recently leading C&N through a successful rebrand and entry into new markets in York and Bucks Counties,” said Brad Scovill, C&N President & CEO. “We’re thrilled to recognize her achievements and her commitment to our company’s vision, mission and values.”

Frantz received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Bucknell University in 2001, after which she held various roles in the retail industry with May Company Department stores in Pittsburgh and St. Louis and Dicks Sporting Goods in Pittsburgh. Charity joined C&N in 2014 as Director of Marketing responsible for managing all aspects of the Marketing function for the Bank’s 11-county footprint. She earned her Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) accreditation from the American Bankers Association School of Banking in 2016 and attended the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s Emerging Leaders Conference that same year. She previously served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Wellsboro Montessori Children’s Center and currently serves as Treasurer for Wellsboro Little League. Charity lives in Wellsboro with her husband, Jamie, and their two children, Adelyn and Benton. She’s an avid sports fan who enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family.

As C&N adds strength to its leadership talent, the company has continued to make significant investments in their infrastructure to support future growth, including enhanced banking technologies and professional development efforts for employees. With the addition of these resources, combined with the expertise of the entire leadership team, C&N is poised to connect its best-in-class technology and personal, localized service to create value for its customers and communities for many years to come.

“Charity provides sound leadership and her team delivers quality, timely resources for the Bank under her direction. We have strategically expanded our capabilities over the past several years and Charity has played a key role in those projects,” said Thomas Rudy, Jr., EVP/Director of Branch Delivery. “Her leadership will continue to drive the future growth and success of C&N.”

We are proud of Ms. Frantz and appreciate her dedication to our mission of creating value through lifelong relationships. Congratulations to Charity and her bright future at C&N.
