Job Title: Business Development Sales Officer II
FUNCTION: Citizens & Northern Bank is seeking a self-motivated customer focused and results driven Business Development Sales Officer. This is an outside sales officer position responsible for developing new loan business. Primary responsibility will be to obtain new loan origination through sales to existing and prospective customers and will be regularly engaged in sales outside of the Bank’s place of business. This position will work directly with other departments as a referral source.
WORK PERFORMED: Grow loan production/portfolios by developing quality relationships by working with centers of influence while managing and minimizing loan delinquency. Develops prospects through networking and referrals from branch personnel and centers of influence. Analyzes, structures, and makes new and renewed loans within lending authority (if applicable). Monitors compliance with loan policies and appropriate regulations. Analyzes client financial needs to determine suitable bank offerings and promotes financial services and products. (i.e. deposit, insurance, investments, trust). Customer Service - exemplifies Citizens & Northern’s Quality Client Service Standards.
QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent skills in: sales, professionalism, analytical, business & organization knowledge and customer focus.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree ( B.S.) from four-year college or university or equivalent in a directly related field such as accounting, finance or business administration. 4-6 years of previous related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
